Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MySchoolSathi (available at myschoolsathi.in), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform. These terms apply to all users, including school administrators, principals, teachers, staff, students, and parents.

2. Description of Service

MySchoolSathi is a cloud-based school management system that provides tools for student management, attendance tracking, fee management, exam and result management, parent communication, and PDF document generation. The platform is provided on a subscription basis.

3. Account Registration and Security

  • School accounts are created by MySchoolSathi administrators upon subscription.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • One subscription covers one school. Multi-branch schools require separate subscriptions or an Enterprise plan.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

  • Free Trial: 7-day trial with full access to all features. No payment required.
  • Monthly Plan: ₹2,499 per month (30 days).
  • Quarterly Plan: ₹6,999 per quarter (120 days).
  • Annual Plan: ₹24,999 per year (365 days).
  • Enterprise Plan: Custom pricing for school chains and multi-branch institutions.
  • All plans include unlimited students, teachers, and parents. No per-user charges.
  • Subscription fees are due at the beginning of each billing cycle.
  • Failure to pay within the grace period (3 days after expiry) will result in restricted access to the platform.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or its systems.
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or any harmful software.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform.
  • Share login credentials with unauthorized persons.
  • Use the platform to store or transmit content that is defamatory, obscene, or violates any third-party rights.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the platform.
  • Exceed API rate limits (100 requests per minute per user).

6. Data Ownership

  • Your Data: All school data (student records, attendance, fees, marks, etc.) entered into the platform remains the property of the school.
  • Our Platform: The MySchoolSathi platform, including its source code, design, features, and documentation, is the intellectual property of MySchoolSathi.
  • You grant us a limited license to use your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service.
  • You may export your data at any time in CSV format.

7. Service Availability

  • We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
  • We may perform scheduled maintenance with prior notice.
  • We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our control (internet outages, hosting provider issues, force majeure events).

8. Termination

  • By You: You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
  • By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, fail to pay, or engage in activities that harm the platform or other users.
  • After Termination: Data is retained in read-only mode for 30 days for export. After 30 days, data is permanently deleted.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • MySchoolSathi is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We do not warrant that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MySchoolSathi, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gujarat, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify active subscribers of material changes via email or in-app notification.
